The Clark Fork Collection 324-36" Large Bollard is a carefully crafted wooden pathway light, featuring a cross that bisects the lamp on two sides, creating a unique design that diffuses light through four frosted lenses.

This fixture is designed to bolt into a concrete footer with electrical conduit in place. It is wet location rated and UL certified to standard 1598. Alternatively, it can be wired as a low voltage fixture.

It is available in the highest quality Western Red Cedar, sustainably sourced from managed forests in British Columbia, or Accoya Color Grey, a sustainable, Cradle to Cradle Gold certified radiata pine product modified for stability and durability to withstand harsh exterior environments. Additional options include:

  • Texture:
    • Bandsawn: Idaho Wood's refined, signature bandsawn texture. It's what we recommend for exterior environments, as it keeps the pores open to allow the wood to absorb oil or stain, thus providing maximum protection.
    • Smooth: sanded smooth to 120-grit. This is a great option for interior environments; the beauty of the wood shines through as it is refined in the sanding process.
  • Corner Detail:
    • Eased: eased to ~ 1/8" round over.
    • Drawknife: Idaho Wood's drawknife corner detail hails from traditional timber hewing techniques used to ease the corners of squared timbers.
  • Finish:
    • Australian Natural Timber Oil: we use Cabot's Australian Natural Timber Oil on our western red cedar fixtures. It is an almost clear oil that penetrates and protects the wood. It contains some color to provide superior UV protection.
    • Yaki Sugi: this is a traditional Japanese term and technique. It literally means "burnt cedar," and requires burning the wood to protect it. It results in a more or less black (charred) finish. This technique has been in use for hundreds, if not thousands, of years in both Japan and Scandinavian churches. See the Stave Churces of Norway to better understand its beauty and ability to protect wood.
    • No Finish: we do not recommend this option for any of our Western Red Cedar products and offer it only to allow you to oil, stain or paint the product on site. The no finish option is, however, recommended, for Accoya Color Grey, which is dyed gray throughout and does not need oiling, staining or painting.
